The Allan Chesang Foundation’s Fumigation Initiative

The Allan Chesang Foundation’s Fumigation Initiative

The Allan Chesang Foundation took an important initiative during the Covid-19 pandemic by conducting fumigation in Trans-Nzoia County. The foundation recognized the need for public institutions to be cleaned and disinfected to prevent the spread of the virus. The Allan Chesang team went around the county to fumigate public institutions, including schools, government buildings, and health facilities. The team remained flexible and adapted their plans as more institutions reached out for assistance.

The fumigation process involved using disinfectants and sanitizers to clean and sanitize the premises, surfaces, and equipment. The team paid close attention to high-touch areas such as door handles, desks, and chairs. The foundation’s efforts resulted in an estimated 600 public institutions being fumigated in the fight against Covid-19.

This initiative was well received by the local communities and received praise from local leaders and stakeholders. The fumigation was an important step in controlling the spread of the virus and ensuring the safety of the public. The foundation’s commitment to the community and the environment was evident through their actions during the Covid-19 pandemic. The foundation continues to play an active role in promoting health and safety in the community and will continue to support the community during times of need.
