The just concluded free medical camp.
Our much anticipated FREE medical camp took place between the 20th and 24th of February 2023 at The Kitale County and Referral Hospital, with registration and screening at the Mount Elgon Hospital. Our Partners, surgeons, doctors, and the team at large worked tirelessly to ensure a smooth and swift process.
We reached out and identified the patients through Free registration and screening at the hospital, local media stations, door-to-door campaigns, and social media advertisements. A total of more than SEVEN THOUSAND patients with different health needs got undivided attention. Every presented case was attended to. The FREE Medical Camp benefited not only the People of Trans-Nzoia county but countrywide!
Our Founder, Senator Allan Chesang, acquired a mobile medical clinic that went around deep in remote areas. It has benefited over 250,000 people but was not able to address all the health issues that arose. He made an effort by going out of his way to seek help from the International Help of People Everywhere (IHOPE) in the United States, hence the decision to come up with this much-needed FREE medical camp. Access to healthcare should not be a privilege but a right. Our people are dying because they cannot afford proper medical services. We will strive for proper healthcare services for all, together with our current and future partners.
This was a chance to give our people the affordable and quality healthcare services that they deserve. This Camp has given us profound joy in seeing suffering alleviated, the sick healed and many smiles restored. This has been one of our most extensive services to our people. We are looking forward to partnering with the government, organizations, philanthropists, and the people at large to cater to every emerging health need and any other needs of our people.
